PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT:
This position will act as the liaison of the entire project. It is a position of great responsibility, requiring complete and thorough technical knowledge of the construction process. He / she is the leader who conceptualizes the construction project, and is responsible for its smooth organization, implementation and completion, to the satisfaction of our client. The job description aims to highlight the multi-faceted role of the job title.

The right candidate must have the following qualities:
Assist in all aspects of retail construction projects from pre construction to project close-out. 
Thorough knowledge of construction documents, MEP’s, policies and procedures. 
Maintain quality assurance; keep control set of contract/shop drawings and issue conformed set of documents to assure all team members are working from current approved design and specifications. 
Prepare/analyze bids, negotiate costs and change orders, qualify new contractors and award contracts.
Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities. 
Communicate effectively with the sub-contractors responsible for completing various phases of 
Daily communication with job superintendents to obtain progress reports. Relay reports to our clients the project. 
Manage project teams including Site Superintendents and Subcontractors 
Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams. 
Build and maintain client and vendor relationships. 
Oversee maintenance of documentation supporting project records to insure that the construction and decision process history is maintained. 
Develop and distribute punch lists; ensure completion of punch lists. 
Maintain and prepare the project Close out Package. 
Periodic inspection of construction sites.

Job Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
The ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
Willingness to travel extensively across the construction sites
A highly driven, self-starter.
Work Environment:
The primary duties of this position are performed in a general office environment. After hours and weekend follow up or site visits will be required.

Salary: Negotiable / Compensation will be commensurate with experience
